This Summer Fly At Home!

The Aerospace Center for Excellence is converting its world-renowned Destination Aviation Summer Camp for 11-17 year-old students online for the summer of 2020. Join the Team, for six weeks every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as we bring you aviation lessons, field trips, and interviews with aerospace professionals. 

No registration is necessary. It is FREE to interact with our lessons, field trips, and interviews. The videos can be found below, on our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.

Discovery Flight

Discovery Flights are for virtual campers who registered and who can get to the SUN 'n FUN Expo Campus at the Lakeland Linder International Airport.

For virtual campers who are unable to travel to Lakeland Linder International Airport, contact your local EAA Chapter to find out when their next Young Eagle Flights will take place. Important Information: Discovery Flights located at the Aerospace Center for Excellence on the SUN 'n FUN Expo Campus on the Lakeland Linder International Airport will be scheduled at a later date and will be communicated with parents/guardians through the email provided when registered.

Virtual Aviation Lessons

Virtual Aviation Lessons will be posted to the Aerospace Center for Excellence's Facebook at 11:00 am ET beginning June 15, 2020 and will also be uploaded below. Each lesson will begin with a quick review of content and end with activities virtual campers can participate with at home. Please see the schedule below for more details.
